- A microwave oven
- Sodium salicylate solution at 0.5%
- Commercial sulfuric acid solution at 96%
- Double potassium and sodium tartrate solution at 60 g.L-1 in sodium hydroxide
- Sodium nitrate stock solution at 100 mg of NO3-.L-1
