ASCORBIC ACID TITRATION

Beware of oxidation in the open air or in solution. Ascorbic acid solutions must not be left on the bench for too long (1h) prior to analysis.
The recommended pharmacopoeial titration is a direct one where ascorbic acid will reduce the diode to iodide.
