Determination of nitrite ions using spectrophotometry
To determine nitrite ions in water, we use a spectrophotometric analysis. However, this method applies only to water with nitrite concentrations over 1 µg.L-1.
Nitrites are rapidly degraded in a natural environment. Their determination must be carried out quickly.
